Rejae

Christmas Brand Shoot

This was my very last shoot of 2025, which closed out my first full year of photography; a milestone that meant a lot to me. The session was a Christmas-themed shoot with Rejae for her business; it was really inspiring to see how intentional she was with mixing her holiday vision, her lash tech brand, and references to Bratz into the concept.

Before the shoot even happened, I had been practicing graphic design in Photoshop; it ended up being something Rejae wanted to incorporate; making it the perfect opportunity to put what I’d been learning to use. For the setup, I used a Godox AD400 strobe with an umbrella modifier to create soft, flattering light that enhanced the Christmas theme. My camera settings were 1/200 shutter speed; f/6.3 aperture; and ISO 100; with the light power set at 1/16.

This shoot was such a meaningful way to end the year; blending planned creative intention with the design skills I’d been developing throughout 2025. It reminded me how much storytelling; lighting; and collaboration can elevate a shoot when every detail is considered.
